Visited with our 4 year old, really lovely staff and hand outs to help her enjoy and make the most of her trip which also helped us look at things we might have missed.
The lift was crazy slow though which was frustrating during a toilet emergency

Lovely collection of contemporary and historical portraits (photography, sculpture and paintings). Visited on Monday morning and it was not too packed. The bar downstairs (Larry's?) is also worth a visit. It's set in the basement arches and has a cool modern feel with lots more photography to see. We had lunch at Muriel's which is just next door in the national gallery. Healthy options and large portion at a decent price.
